Capitalizing on the strong art community in the Seattle area, Strange Coupling was formed in 2002 to establish a meaningful connection between local artists and current UW students. The collaboration of eight "Couples" (paired student and local artists) culminates in an exhibition in April 2012.
This years coupling process will be juried by The Strange Co. Organizers with the help of Catharina Manchanda, Director of Modern Art at SAM, and Kris Anderson, Director of the Jacob Lawrence Gallery.
